Mukul Footwear

We are over at 243 Millenium Plaza in Ecotech 3 Udyog Kendra. Mukul Footwear is where we spend our days surrounded by shoes. The Udyog Kendra area is mostly industrial and business-focused, so we see a lot of people who need sturdy footwear for their jobs. We carry a range of things, from boots that can take a beating to simpler shoes for walking around. The shop isn't very large, so we have boxes stacked up high to make use of the space. It can be a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't have a team of sales people in suits. We just help people find the right size and something that fits their budget. It’s a practical business. We’ve seen the area change as more buildings went up in Ecotech 3. We stayed right here in Millenium Plaza through it all. Most of our customers are workers from the nearby factories or people living in the area. We know what kind of wear and tear their shoes go through. Sometimes people come in just to ask for a bit of glue for a peeling sole. We do what we can. It’s not a glamorous job, but everyone needs shoes. We keep things simple and don't bother with much else. It’s just us, the shoes, and the daily grind of checking sizes and stocking the shelves. It keeps us on our feet.
