Mukul Foot Wear

Mukul Foot Wear is at number 67, very close to Chandra Shekhar Park in Shalimar Garden Extension 2, Sahibabad. Having the park nearby is actually quite nice because you can see some green trees from the street, which is a change from all the concrete. The shop itself is a bit modest, just a regular space filled with different kinds of footwear for men and kids. We have been here at number 67 for some time, and most of the people who live in Shalimar Garden Extension 2 probably know where we are. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except for the evenings when families are out for a walk in Chandra Shekhar Park. Sometimes the kids come in with mud on their old shoes, and they need something new for school or just for playing. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, so we use a small ladder to reach the boxes at the top. It can be a bit of a struggle when it’s busy. Sahibabad gets quite dusty, so we are always dusting off the display items. The shop doesn't have fancy decorations, just the shoes and some old posters on the wall. We open early and stay until the park gates are usually closed for the night. It is a basic, honest way to make a living in this part of town.
