We’ve been here at Surya Nagar for a while now. It’s right on the Delhi-UP border, so we get people coming in from both sides. Suresh Malik and the rest of us just keep busy with the usual tax filings and audit work that comes through the door. The office is at B-97. Sometimes traffic near the border makes it tricky to reach us, but we’re usually at our desks by mid-morning. We handle a lot of the paperwork for local shops and small businesses around Ghaziabad. It's not fancy work, but it needs doing. Mostly, we just sit with the ledgers and try to make sense of the new rules that keep changing every year. If you walk past the main gate, you’ll see our sign. People often drop in just to ask a quick question about their returns or some notice they got in the mail. We try to keep things straightforward. No one likes talking about taxes all day, but that’s what we do. The office has been in this spot for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We just keep our heads down and focus on the numbers. It’s a quiet place for the most part, unless it's March or July, then things get a bit more hectic around here. We just deal with whatever files come across the desk. It’s a lot of paper, but we’re used to it by now.
