Iconic Trade

Our place is tucked away in Gali No. 6 of the Rajendra Nagar Industrial Area, over in Mohan Nagar. The address is No. 72/11-C if you’re trying to find the main gate. Iconic Trade is mostly about moving goods and keeping things organized for our clients. It’s a dusty area, as you’d expect with all the factories and trucks moving around here. We deal with a lot of different items, trading back and forth across the city. The warehouse floor is usually covered in wooden pallets and rolls of packing tape. We have a small office space for the computers, but mostly we’re out on the floor or talking to drivers who are trying to squeeze their trucks into the narrow alleyway. It gets very loud with the machinery from the neighbors, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the supplies get where they need to go on time. There’s a lot of paperwork involved, which none of us really likes doing, but it has to be done to keep things legal. We’ve had some long nights here when a shipment is late or something gets mixed up in the final tally. We just pull up a plastic chair, have some hot chai, and wait it out. It’s not a polished business with people in suits; we’re usually in dusty jeans and old t-shirts. That’s just the nature of working in Mohan Nagar.
