Mocking Bird

Mocking Bird is over at 20B in Kaushambi. It is not a very big place, just a small setup we have running. We wanted to have a spot where people could just come in and get what they need without a lot of fuss. The name sounded good to us, so we went with it. Being in Kaushambi means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. We are not trying to be the most famous place in town or anything like that. We just focus on the daily tasks. Cleaning up, setting out the items, and talking to whoever walks through the door. Some mornings are quiet and we just sit and wait for the first customer. Then it gets busy around lunch. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when it gets crowded. We do our best to keep things tidy. We don't have a big corporate team or fancy marketing stuff. It is just a few of us making sure the place stays open and people are satisfied. You might miss us if you are driving too fast down the street. It is a humble little shop. We like the neighborhood feel here. People know each other and we've become part of that routine. We keep the lights on and the doors open. That’s pretty much the whole story. No big secrets or complicated plans, just Mocking Bird at 20B.
