Mecheno Cranes & Hoist

Mecheno Cranes & Hoist is based at No.112 on Patel Marg. We are located within the Guru Nank Compound, which is quite close to Rohan Motors. Having a spot in the compound is helpful because we need the extra room for the kind of equipment we deal with. It’s a gritty, working-class area and our shop fits right in. There’s usually some grease on our hands and the sound of machinery in the air. We don't have a polished front office or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, if someone stops by, they have to shout over the noise or find one of us in the back. We’ve been at this Patel Marg location for quite a while now. The building is simple and sturdy, which is what you want when you are working with cranes and heavy hoists. There are tools scattered on the workbenches and spare parts tucked into every corner. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we have our own system for finding things. The traffic on the road outside is always heavy with trucks, but that’s part of the trade. We just keep our heads down and focus on the repairs and assemblies. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, just a local shop doing the work we’ve always done.
