Manav Hospital

Our hospital is tucked away in Block B of Kavi Nagar, right behind the State Bank of India. It’s a busy little corner of the neighborhood and most people find us just by looking for the bank sign first. We have been working out of this building for a good while now. The morning usually starts with the sound of shutters going up and the staff getting the front desk ready. It is not a flashy place with glass walls or fancy art. It is just a regular hospital where we spend our days seeing whoever comes in. The waiting room chairs have seen better days but they do the job. We keep a lot of paper files because that’s just how we’ve always done it here. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially during the afternoon rush, but once you are inside, things settle down. The staff knows most of the locals by their first names. We don’t have a big corporate cafeteria, just a small space where we eat our lunch boxes and talk about the day. It gets a bit crowded on Mondays, which is typical for any place in Kavi Nagar I suppose. We just focus on keeping the rooms clean and making sure the equipment is working like it should. It’s a practical setup and we like it that way. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the shortcuts to get behind the bank when the main road is blocked.
