Luxur Hardware

Our shop, Luxur Hardware, is over at C-18 in Sector-14, Kaushambi. It’s a decent-sized place but we’ve filled it up with so much stock that it feels smaller than it is. We carry all the regular stuff you’d expect—handles, locks, hinges, and all that. Kaushambi is a busy area, so we get a lot of people stopping in on their way somewhere else. We aren't part of any big chain; it’s just our own local business. We keep the lights on and the doors open from morning until late evening. My nephew helps me out during the busy hours, and we usually have some music playing on a small radio in the corner. We don't really bother with fancy uniforms or anything corporate. It’s just us in our regular clothes, helping customers find what they need for their bathrooms or kitchens. The inventory can be a bit of a mess sometimes, especially after a big delivery, but we know where the important things are kept. We’ve been here long enough that we know many of our customers by name. We don't do any big advertising. We just figure if we do a decent job and keep the shelves full, people will keep coming back. It’s a simple way to run a store, and it works for us. We just take things one day at a time here in Sector-14.
