If you come down to Shyam Industrial Area in Loni, you’ll find us at Plot No 18. We do all the small things that go onto helmets. Think about the straps, the plastic clips, and the padding inside. It’s a lot of small parts, so we have rows and rows of bins filled with little bits of plastic and fabric. The sound of the sewing machines is the main thing you hear when you walk in. We have a small crew and everyone has their own spot. Some are cutting the foam, others are stitching the chin straps. It’s not the most glamorous job, but every biker needs a helmet that stays on their head properly. We’ve been in this spot in Loni for a bit now. The roads around here can get pretty crowded with tempos and rickshaws, especially during shift changes. We spend a lot of time checking the clips to make sure they snap right. If a batch is off, we have to sit and go through them one by one. It’s tedious but necessary. We don't have a website with flashy photos. Most of our business comes from people who know we are here and know we get the work done. The lights in the shop are bright so we can see the small details. By the time we lock up at night, we’re usually covered in thread and dust.
