Layers Design Studio

Layers Design Studio is located over at A 96 in Balmukanda Residency. If you know Raj Nagar Extension, we are pretty close to Mgi Chowk, which makes it easy for people to find us when they’re driving around Ghaziabad. We’ve been set up here for a bit now, focusing on how to put spaces together. It’s usually just us sitting at the desks, looking at floor plans and trying to figure out where the furniture should go so nobody bumps their shins. We handle a lot of the back-and-forth that comes with renovating a place. It’s not always pretty work; there’s a lot of checking on site progress and dealing with deliveries that arrive late. We try to be practical about what can actually be done in a standard apartment around here. Sometimes the ideas people have don’t quite fit the space, so we have to be honest about that. The studio is often filled with catalogs and fabric swatches that we’ve collected over the months. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s basically just planning out a room and then making sure the execution goes okay. People from the nearby blocks usually stop by just to ask a quick question or see what we’re working on. We like being part of the local scene here in Raj Nagar. It keeps us busy and there’s always something new happening with the buildings nearby.
