Kumar Studio

Kumar Studio is located at 170 Sahibabad in the Janak Puri area. We have been in this spot for quite a while, and it has become a bit of a local fixture. The studio itself is a straightforward space. We have a small area in the front where we talk to people and a larger room in the back where the cameras and lights are set up. It isn’t the kind of place that has been professionally designed. We’ve just added things as we needed them over the years. You’ll see various backdrops hanging from the ceiling and tripods tucked into the corners. The floor is a bit scuffed from moving equipment around, and the lighting inside is usually kept low unless we are actually working. Janak Puri is a crowded neighborhood, so there is always something going on outside our door. We hear the sounds of the market and the local traffic all day long. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby and recognize the name. Inside, we have an old wooden desk where we keep our records and a computer for some basic editing. It is a bit dusty in the corners, and the chairs have seen better days, but it is a comfortable place for us. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who comes by. It’s a very local, human way to run a business.
