Kumar Motors

Kumar Motors is right next to the chowk at Ambedkar Road Kalka Garhi Chowk 4. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot with all the traffic coming through the junction. There is usually a lot of grease and oil around because that’s just the nature of the work. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand around or come back later. We are just a group of guys working on engines and whatever else comes through the door. It gets loud with the tools and the cars, but we don't mind. We’ve got our routine down. Ambedkar Road is always moving, so we stay busy too. We don't really have a big marketing plan. People just know we are here at number 4. We just take things one day at a time. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job if it's needed. It's not a very polished business, just a regular workshop. We have our regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know the spot at Kalka Garhi Chowk. We don't spend much time on the computer, we’re usually under a hood somewhere. If you're looking for us, just look for the shop at the corner. That is Kumar Motors for you. Nothing more, nothing less. Just us working. We usually have a few old tires stacked up out front, which some people might not like, but it’s a workshop after all. My hands are usually stained with oil by noon. It's just a sign of a good day's work.
