Khanna Optical Point

Our shop is located at Door No-3 on Plot No-10 in the Sector-4 Main Market of Vaishali. It’s a small storefront right in the middle of a very busy shopping area. We have rows of glass cases filled with different frames and some mirrors on the walls so people can see how they look. The space is narrow, so if more than three or four people come in at once, it feels quite full. Most of the day is spent helping people pick out glasses or checking their eyes in the small room at the back. We have an old machine for testing vision that still works perfectly fine. The lighting inside is bright so people can see the details of the frames. Sometimes the market gets so noisy that we have to close the front door just to hear what the customers are saying. We’ve been here for a good while and we know many of the other shopkeepers around Sector-4. We keep a stock of different lenses and cleaning solutions on the shelves behind the counter. It’s a basic business. We don't have a fancy computer system, mostly just a paper ledger where we write down the orders and the dates. My son helps out in the evenings when it gets busier. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to get the prescriptions right and help people find something that fits their face. The market can be a bit overwhelming, but our little corner is usually steady.
