Our place is Kairos Consultancy Services Private Limited, and you can find us at 9/1266 in Sector 9, Vasundhra. It is just one of those standard offices in a busy residential-cum-commercial block in Ghaziabad. We don't have a big sign outside or anything that screams for attention. Most people just walk past without noticing us, which is fine. Inside, it's just us and our desks. Consulting sounds like a very formal word, but really it just means we spend a lot of time talking to people and trying to figure out solutions for whatever they bring to us. Sector 9 has its own rhythm. There’s always someone selling snacks nearby or the sound of horns from the main road. The office itself is a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. We’ve got a small area for making coffee, though it usually tastes like cardboard. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just sit there staring at the screen waiting for a page to load, which gives us a chance to chat about non-work stuff. It's a very grounded atmosphere. We don't use much corporate jargon here. We just try to be practical and get through the list of things to do. Being in Vasundhra is convenient for most of the staff because the transport links aren't too bad, though the heat in June makes every commute feel twice as long.
