J. K. International Garments

Our workshop is situated at 61/16 in Site - 4 of the Sahibabad Industrial Area. This part of town is always busy, with trucks and laborers moving around from sunrise to sunset. We have a decent-sized space here, though it often feels small when we get a large shipment of fabric in. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving equipment around, and the lighting is just standard industrial bulbs. We don't spend much time worrying about the appearance of the place. Our focus is entirely on the machines and the garments we are putting together. You can hear the constant rhythmic clicking of the needles all day long. It’s a sound we’ve all grown used to. Most of us have been working in this industry for a long time, so we just know what needs to be done without much discussion. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for tea, and that’s about the only luxury we have. The roads in Site - 4 are often dusty and full of potholes, which makes for a bumpy ride for the delivery vans, but we manage to get things out on time regardless. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. We are just a group of people working in a factory unit in Sahibabad. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but it’s what we know how to do. The neighborhood isn't much to look at, but it’s where the work gets done.
