Ishika Mother & Child Care Centre

If you’re in Shalimar Garden-2, you’ll find Ishika Mother & Child Care Centre at C-13 / A-3. We are located right between Shiv Chowk and the Sunday Market area. This is a busy part of Ghaziabad, especially on weekends when the market is in full swing. Being a center for mothers and kids means we hear a lot of crying babies and see a lot of tired parents. It’s a lively place, to say the least. We’ve set things up to be as comfortable as possible for families, but it’s still a medical center at the end of the day. There are toys scattered around sometimes and the walls have some bright colors to make the kids feel less nervous. We aren't a giant institution with hundreds of beds. We are a smaller, more personal place where you might see the same nurse every time you visit. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long when there are several checkups scheduled at once. We just try to manage the flow as best we can. The 201001 area has a lot of young families, so we stay pretty busy. It’s not a polished corporate office with marble floors. It’s a place where real life happens every day, with all the noise and mess that comes with children and health care. It's just a part of the neighborhood where parents can bring their little ones.
