Plasto Chem

Plasto Chem is based out of the industrial area on B.S. Road. We are at C-215, which is right across from Silver City. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know the area. We work with plastics and chemicals, so the place has that distinct industrial smell that never really goes away. The building is a functional space with a large door for loading and a small area for the office work. It’s usually a bit of a mess because we are always moving barrels or bags of material around. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny facade. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from years of work. Our team is just a few guys who know how to handle the products and keep the machines running. We spend most of our day on our feet. The office part is just a corner with an old desk and a computer that’s a bit slow. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to finish the day’s orders so we can lock up and go home. On rainy days, the roof drips a little in the corner, so we have to move the stock around to keep it dry. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you’re running a small place like this. We like it here because it’s quiet enough and we can just do our own thing.
