Our place is tucked away in the Handloom Complex on B. S. Road. It's right in the middle of the industrial area, so it gets pretty loud with all the trucks and machinery moving around. We’ve been at B/18/14 for years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy working to worry about how the place looks. It’s a functional space. We do a lot of supply work for other businesses nearby. You’ll find piles of stuff everywhere. It might look like chaos to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. The guys who work here have been around a long time. We know the local chai stall owner by name. It’s a rough and tumble environment, not like those shiny offices you see in the city center. We deal with real hardware and goods. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we just sweep it out and keep going. We don't spend much on fancy furniture. Most of our chairs have seen better days. But they work. People usually just call us or stop by if they need something. We don't do much online. It’s better to talk face to face anyway. The industrial area has its own rhythm, and we’re just a small part of it. We stay late most nights getting things sorted. It's hard work, but it’s what we know. There's always something to move or count at the complex.
