Hindustan Batteries

We are located right by the G.D.A Building near the bus stand in Ghaziabad at number 7. It is a very busy area with buses coming and going all the time. Our shop is full of batteries of all sizes. Some are heavy ones for cars and others are for home inverters. The floor is concrete because these things are way too heavy for anything else. It can get a bit dark inside with all the stock piled up but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time checking voltage and filling up distilled water. It is messy work and our hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of people stopping by who are just passing through. We also have our regular customers from the nearby offices who need their vehicle batteries checked. We don't have any fancy displays. Just rows of batteries and the charging equipment in the corner. Sometimes the smell of the lead and acid is strong but that is just part of the trade. We have been here at this spot for quite a while. It is a simple shop for people who need power for their machines. We just do our work and keep the shop open. It is heavy work but someone has to do it.
