You can find us at Nangloi, specifically Shop No 1, House No 2 in Ashok Mohala, right there in Bhooton Wali Gali. It’s a bit of a narrow street, but we’ve made our home here for a long time. Being a motor shop means there is always oil on the floor and grease on our clothes. We work on engines and different parts for vehicles. It’s a loud place sometimes with the sound of tools hitting metal and engines being tested. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or coffee machines. People usually just stand around and watch us work or go for a walk while we finish up. The shop is small and packed with parts, so we have to be organized just to find a specific wrench. It gets quite busy, especially after a rainy day when more things seem to break down. We take the work as it comes. Some days it’s just simple fixes and other days we are wrestling with a stubborn engine for hours. The neighbors are used to us by now. We try to keep the front of the shop clear so people can pass through the gali, but it’s tight. We started this because we like fixing things and Nangloi is where we know people. It’s a tough job on the back and the hands, but it’s what we do. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't, just a local motor shop.
