Gupta Industries

Our place is right on G.T. Road, very close to the railway crossing. You can’t miss the sound of the trains passing by every few hours. It makes the windows rattle sometimes, but we don't even notice it anymore. Being on such a main road means there's always a lot of dust and noise. We are Gupta Industries, but it’s just a regular workshop. We deal with industrial parts and some manufacturing. The building is an old one. It has high ceilings and a concrete floor that’s seen better days. We have some heavy machines in the back that have been with us for a long time. They still run fine as long as we keep them oiled. In the front, we have a small office area with a couple of chairs for visitors. It’s not the most comfortable place, but it does the trick. We usually have a pot of tea going. The staff here has been around for years, so we’re like a small family. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. If a job needs to get finished, we just stay late until it’s done. The traffic on G.T. Road is always heavy, so getting deliveries in and out takes some planning. We’ve seen the road change over the years, but our spot by the crossing stays the same. Most days are pretty similar, just working through the list of things to do. We keep the gate open.
