The Amrit Steel Compound is where you’ll find us, specifically at A 88 No. 89 90 on the south side of GT Road. Being near GT Road means there is a constant hum of heavy trucks and traffic. It’s a dusty place, and we usually have our boots on because the ground outside isn't paved very well. At Shree Constructions, we spend our time looking over site plans and checking on material deliveries. The office inside the compound is functional and a bit dark. We’ve got large tables for spreading out blueprints, and there is always a layer of fine dust on everything no matter how much we clean. It’s an industrial vibe through and through. We don’t get many walk-in customers who aren't already involved in a project with us. Most of the guys are out on-site during the day, so it’s just a few of us here handling the phone calls and the paperwork. The South Side of GT Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we try to get our deliveries sorted early in the morning. We have a small pantry where we make tea, which is pretty much the fuel for the whole operation. It’s hard work, and the environment reflects that. There are no fancy decorations or soft carpets here. Just steel, concrete, and a lot of logistics to keep track of every single day to make sure everything stays moving.
