Tree Books Shop

Tree Books Shop is a small place located at I-70 in Govindpuram. We have shelves packed with all sorts of books, from school texts to stories. It is a quiet little spot, which is how a bookshop should be, I think. We started it because we like having books around and wanted a place in the neighborhood where people could find something to read. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high sometimes. You might have to move a pile to find what you're looking for, but that's part of the charm. We spend a lot of time dusting the covers and organizing by subject. It is just us here most of the time. We know the regulars who come in from around Govindpuram. Some kids stop by after school to see what's new. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of it is just knowing where we put that one specific copy. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We don't do big sales or flashy windows. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for people to wander in. It’s a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by paper and ink. If you need a book, we are probably here sitting behind the counter. We don't mind if you take your time looking around. Sometimes the best books are the ones you find by accident at the bottom of a stack. It's just a simple shop for people who enjoy reading.
