We’ve been here at Nehru Nagar 102/4 for quite some time now. Dealing with steel isn't the cleanest job in the world, you know, but it's what we do every day. The shop isn't anything fancy. It's mostly just piles of metal and the sound of things getting moved around. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we have what they need for their house repairs. Nehru Nagar gets pretty busy during the day, so sometimes the noise from the street mixes in with the clanging of the steel rods. We open up early, usually when the tea stall down the road starts serving. It’s a simple setup. My desk is usually covered in papers and some dust, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with industrial materials. We don’t really have a big sign or anything flashy. People just know the Goswami Company is at this spot. Some days are slow, while others have trucks coming in and out constantly. We just try to keep things organized so we can find the right sizes when someone asks. It's a small team, mostly just a few of us who have known each other for years. We don't spend much on decorating the place because the steel takes up all the space anyway. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the work done without too much fuss or extra noise about it.
