Our site is located at C-89 on Bulandshahr Road, right in the middle of the Site No. 1 Industrial Area. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of place, to be honest. If you come to visit Ghaziabad Ispat Udyog Ltd., you’ll see the heavy trucks lined up and the massive stacks of steel we keep out in the yard. Ghaziabad has always been an industrial hub, and we’ve been right in the thick of it for many years. The air usually smells like iron and exhaust, while the noise from the nearby factories never really stops. We don’t have a polished office with fancy furniture. Our chairs are a bit old, and the desks stay covered in ledgers and delivery notes. Most of our time is spent coordinating the loading and unloading of materials. It’s heavy work that can be dangerous if you aren't paying attention. We’ve got a good crew of guys who have been with us through plenty of ups and downs. Beyond what’s necessary to keep the records straight, we don't use much technology. Most of the business is done through old-fashioned conversations and handshakes. When the rain comes, the yard turns into a bit of a swamp, but we keep the trucks moving anyway. It’s not a glamorous life, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the steel leave the yard on its way to a new building site. We just keep at it every single day without any unnecessary fuss or bother.
