G.F. International

Working out of Site 4 in the Industrial Area is mostly about dealing with the dust and the trucks. G.F. International is located at 4/49, and it’s a pretty standard industrial unit. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. The walls are plain and the floors are concrete because that’s what makes sense for the kind of work we do. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. Most of our days are spent checking inventory or making sure the loading is happening correctly. It gets quite loud during the peak hours with all the other units nearby doing their thing. We have a small team, and we all pitch in where it's needed. There isn't a strict hierarchy here; if something needs moving, someone moves it. It’s a long commute for some of us, but we’re used to the route by now. The area isn't much to look at, but it’s where the real work happens. We don’t do much advertising or anything promotional. Most people find us because they need what we have in stock. We keep the doors open and the big fans running when it’s hot. It’s just a regular workplace where people show up and do their jobs. Nothing more, nothing less. We don’t have a fancy website or a PR person to handle things. Just us at 4/49 trying to keep things moving along every day. It is a living, and we do it as best as we can.
