Gardhwal Panner Shop

This shop is situated in Kamla Market, right on the main road of Ram Puri. Most people know us because we’re quite close to the Brij Vihar Chowk area here in Ghaziabad. We mainly deal with paneer and other dairy products, which means we have to be very careful about keeping things cold and fresh. The fridge units take up a lot of space in Shop No 2, and they hum all day long. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters and washing the floors because working with milk products can get messy quickly. It’s a small operation, mostly just handling the daily deliveries that come in early when the sun is barely up. People stop by on their way home from work to pick up something for dinner. The market stays pretty loud with all the horns and people shouting, but inside we just focus on weighing the paneer and wrapping it up. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or decorations, just the basic stuff we need to do the job. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to scramble to keep the stock from spoiling, which is always a bit of a headache. It's a lot of standing around and waiting for customers, then a sudden rush where everyone wants something at the same time. We keep our supplies simple and try to stay on top of the cleaning every single afternoon.
