You can find us at B-58 Shyam Park, specifically in Site 4. We are tucked right behind the Pacific Mall, which is funny because that place is so modern and loud, and our little pocket is much quieter. Sometimes people get lost looking for us because the mall dominates the whole skyline, but once you turn the corner into the residential block, it’s much easier. The shop isn’t very big. We have shelves lining every wall from the floor to the ceiling, filled with all kinds of medicine boxes. There’s a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things are slow. We spend a lot of time reading prescriptions and checking the expiry dates on the stock. It’s a routine that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, so we have to use a torch sometimes to find things on the bottom shelves. We get a mix of people coming in—some are locals from Shyam Park and others are just passing through. We don’t have any big posters or fancy advertisements on the walls. It’s just a place to get your medicine and go. Sometimes we stand outside the door just to stretch our legs and watch the cars going into the mall parking lot. It’s a small, steady life we have here, making sure we have what people are looking for.
