Frontier Shoe Mart

If you walk through Sarafa Bazar in Hapur, you’ll find us at A-2. It’s a busy spot, especially on market days when everyone is out looking for things. We sell shoes, mostly practical ones that people need for their daily lives. The shop is small and filled with boxes from the floor to the ceiling. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze when there are more than three people inside at once. We’ve been here in the bazaar for quite a few years now. You see a lot of the same faces coming back every time they need a new pair of boots or sandals. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. Just some shelves and a few chairs for people to sit on while they try things on. Hapur is a lively place, and being in Sarafa Bazar means there’s always something happening outside our door. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. We open up early and close when the rest of the market does. It’s a simple life running a shoe shop. We help people find what fits and what will last them through the season. There’s no magic to it, just knowing what we have in stock and making sure people leave with what they needed. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down, and the smell of the frying snacks usually drifts in around four o’clock. It’s a nice distraction when the shop is quiet.
