Dr Hamid Ali Clinic is right here in Nasbandi Colony. We are located very close to the Noorani Masjid, which is a major landmark for anyone trying to find us. You can hear the call to prayer throughout the day, which gives a nice rhythm to our work. Nasbandi Colony is a tight-knit place with lots of small houses and narrow streets. Our clinic is just a small part of that. It’s a simple room with some chairs and a desk where we keep our records. The walls have a few scuffs on them, and the fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking noise when it’s on the highest setting. We get a lot of people from the colony coming in, especially in the late afternoon. It’s a busy neighborhood, and there is always some noise from children playing outside or neighbors talking across the street. We don't have anything fancy or high-tech; it’s just a place for people to come when they need a bit of help. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, and everything slows down for a while. We’ve been here in this spot near the Masjid for a long time, and we know most of the families by name. It’s just a regular local clinic doing its thing in the middle of Nasbandi Colony every day, staying open until the street lights come on and the evening sets in for everyone.
