Our shop is tucked away on Street Number 2, right off Tibra Road in Modi Nagar. If you walk past the tea stall, you’ll hear the machines humming away most of the day. It’s not a very big space, but we have enough room for the printers and the paper stocks. We do a lot of different things like printing cards and banners, or whatever the local shops need for their signs. The ink smell is something you just get used to after a while. Sometimes the machines get a bit finicky, especially when we have a big pile of work to finish by the evening. I usually spend most of my day at the counter or checking the alignment on the prints. It is a bit noisy when everything is running at once, but that means we are getting things done. We have been in this part of Modi Nagar for a bit now. The neighbors are nice, and we often have people just dropping in to ask about prices or to see if their order is ready. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. It’s a lot of paper and measuring and making sure the colors look okay on the final sheets. Not every day is perfect, and sometimes we run out of a specific kind of cardstock, but we figure it out. It’s just us working hard in a small street.
