At Diamond Piston & Ring Limted, we spend a lot of time around metal and oil. Our place is located at C-1/2 Sector-22, right on Merrut Road in Guldhar. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We specialize in pistons and rings, which is greasy, heavy work most days. The floor is usually covered in a bit of grit, and the smell of the shop is something you just get used to after the first week. We aren't trying to be a corporate giant. We are just a group of people who know how these parts are supposed to fit together. We’ve been in Guldhar for a while now, and the neighbors in Sector-22 are mostly doing similar kinds of work. The Merrut Road location makes it easy for us to get our supplies, though the dust from the road can be a bit much in the summer months. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the machines we need and enough space to store the finished rings and pistons before they head out. It's not a glamorous job, but it's steady. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work and try to keep our machines running right. It’s a practical business for practical people. On rainy days, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the lathe and the other tools. It is what it is.
