About Deepak Shoes – Fashion & Trends in Ghaziabad
Deepak Shoes is situated at 35 Sabzi Mandi, right near the Ghanta Ghar. Being inside the vegetable market means it is always noisy and there is a lot of shouting from the vendors outside. My shop is quite small, and I have boxes of shoes stacked all the way to the ceiling. It can feel a bit cramped, especially when the market is busy in the mornings. I have all sorts of footwear, from simple rubber slippers to more sturdy boots for the workers. The floor is made of old tiles that have been scuffed up over many years. I usually sit on a small stool at the front so I can see people passing by. It gets very dusty with all the carts and people moving around, so I spend a lot of time with a duster in my hand. I don’t have a computer or anything like that; I just use a small diary to keep track of my sales. When the bell at Ghanta Ghar rings, it reminds me how long I've been sitting here. I know all the other shopkeepers in the mandi, and we often share tea during the slow hours in the afternoon. It is an honest living, and I like being in the heart of the city. People come in with their bags of vegetables, try on some shoes, and we have a little chat. It is just a normal life.
