Dav Kids

Over in Shivpuri, near the Ganesh Mandip Chook in Hapur, you will find Dav Kids. This place is mainly for the younger children in the neighborhood. Because the kids are small, the school feels a bit different than the big secondary schools. We have colorful walls and smaller chairs and tables for them. It is a noisy place, as you can imagine with so many little ones running around. Hapur is a busy town, and our spot near the chook means there is always something going on outside. We have a few rooms where the children spend their day learning the basics like their ABCs and numbers. We do not have a huge staff, just a few of us who look after the kids and teach them. The playground is small but it has the usual things like a slide that the kids love. Parents from the Shivpuri area usually drop their kids off on their way to work. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized and making sure the children are safe and occupied. It is a lot of work, and some days are more tiring than others when the kids are particularly energetic. We do not use any fancy teaching methods. We just sit with them, read stories, and help them with their drawings. It is a simple, local school for the little kids of Hapur, and we are here to keep it going every day. This is how we have always done things.
