Daksh General Store

If you walk through Harishchand Ka Bagh in Ghaziabad, you will find Daksh General Store. We are near the Chaprola Police Chowki, specifically in the Lal Kuan area. Behind us is the Kherqa Dharampura Gaon, so we get a lot of people coming in from the village side as well. The shop is simple, with just some metal racks and a counter. We sell things like pens, notebooks, biscuits, and some basic medicines. It’s the kind of place where kids come to spend a few rupees on candy after school. The road outside can get very dusty, especially when the trucks go by toward Lal Kuan. We spend a good part of the morning just wiping down the counters. We don't have a big staff, it's mostly just family helping out. We don’t have a fancy billing system; we just remember the prices or look at the labels. Sometimes we run out of change, so we have to ask people to wait while we run to the neighbor. It's not a very organized place, but we have most of what a household needs for the day. Living in Ghaziabad means dealing with the heat and the noise, and the shop is right in the middle of it. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to walk in. It is a humble way to earn a living.
