Our place is located at 41/14 Site - 4 in the Sahibabad Industrial Area. It’s a busy spot, lots of factories and warehouses around us. D Silk N Silver Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this unit for some time. Inside, it's mostly about the materials. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and metal parts. It isn't always glamorous work, despite the name. There is a lot of counting, checking for snags, and making sure the inventory matches what the computer says. The air in the industrial area can be heavy, but we have a couple of fans going to keep things moving. Lunch usually happens at our desks or sometimes we walk out to the little stalls nearby for a quick bite. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to get the orders filled correctly. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of being in Sahibabad. We wait it out and then get back to it. It’s a practical setup here. There are racks of stuff everywhere and the smell of the workspace is very specific—sort of metallic and earthy. We mostly keep our heads down and work through the list of things to do. It’s a solid routine. We’ve seen the neighbors change over the years, but we’re still here at site 4. It’s just how we do things every day for the people who need our stuff.
