Consulting Architects

We are over in Shalimar Garden Extension 2. Our shop number is A 220/C. It’s right in the middle of a busy neighborhood in Sahibabad. The office is small, just a shop really, but it’s where we do all our architectural consulting. There are a few of us here. We spend our days dealing with local building codes and helping people figure out what they can actually build on their plots. It’s a lot of paperwork and technical drawing. The area around Shalimar Garden is pretty crowded, so we have to be smart about how we use space in our designs. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. It’s just desks, chairs, and a printer that occasionally jams. People walk in all the time with sketches they made on napkins or old pieces of paper. We take those ideas and try to turn them into something a builder can actually use. It’s not always easy work, and there are a lot of long hours involved. We don't use fancy talk. We just tell people what will work and what won't. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for folks to drop in. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We are just part of the local fabric here, trying to help people get their buildings right without too much trouble. It is a busy shop but we like it.
