Carevel Medical Systems Private Limited is located at S-35-36 in the Site IV Industrial Area of Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. It’s a pretty massive industrial stretch. Here, we mostly manufacture things like hospital beds and other medical furniture. The factory floor is always busy. You’ll hear the constant sound of metal being bent and the hiss from the paint sprayers. It’s a large space because the beds take up so much room once they’re put together. We don’t have a corporate headquarters in a skyscraper; we’re right here on the shop floor most of the time. The summer heat in Ghaziabad can be brutal in a metal shed like this, but we keep the big fans going and just get on with it. We spend a lot of time checking the frames to make sure they are sturdy and that the wheels move like they should. It’s not a glamorous job, but it feels like we’re doing something useful since these beds end up in clinics and hospitals. Sometimes getting the trucks loaded and out through the Sahibabad traffic is a real headache. We don't have a team of people trying to come up with slogans or fancy goals. We just try to make good furniture that doesn’t break when it's needed. Our office is just a small room off to the side with some basic desks and a lot of files. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we just take it one order at a time.
