This shop is down in the basement of Shipra Ravera Tower in Gyan Khand 3, Indirapuram. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler during the peak of summer, which is nice for us and anyone sitting in the chair. To find us, you just look for Shop No-B34 once you get to the building. It’s a quiet corner of Ghaziabad compared to some of the main markets. The room is mostly taken up by the workstations and the mirrors. I keep my tools laid out on the counter where I can reach them easily without looking. We have a small TV in the corner that usually has the news on or some cricket if a match is happening. There’s a faint smell of aftershave and hair tonic that never really goes away. The chairs are the kind that lean back for shaves, and they’ve been fixed a few times but they still work fine. We get a lot of guys from the towers above us who just want to get a shave before they head to work in the morning. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if someone calls and says they’re stuck in traffic on the way home. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights, just a regular basement shop where we do our work. Most of the day is just spent chatting with neighbors and keeping the floor clear of hair. It's just a simple job in a simple place.
