Mitr Mechanique

Our place, Mitr Mechanique, is located at No. F-25 in the Udyog Kunj Industrial Area, right off NH - 24 in Dasna. It is an industrial zone, so there are always heavy trucks moving around and the sound of machines coming from the neighbors. Our unit is basically a large open space with a small office area partitioned off in one corner with some plywood. We have a lot of heavy equipment and metal parts lying around on the floor. It can get pretty loud during the day when we are working on something big. The floors are concrete and usually have some dust on them no matter how much we sweep at the end of the day. We have been in Dasna for a while and the location works well because it is easy for the big lorries to reach us from the highway. We do not have a fancy showroom or a place to sit and have coffee. It is just where the hard work happens. We have a couple of steel cupboards for our tools and a messy desk where we keep all the invoices and receipts. Sometimes the heat in the peak of summer makes it tough to stay focused in the afternoon, so we try to start very early in the morning. There is a small stall at the end of the lane where we get tea. It is a noisy, busy environment.
