Bajaj Hindustan Sugar Industries

This is where we handle the Bajaj Hindustan Sugar Industries side of things, over in Flat No. 184 A in Ghaziabad. It’s an apartment-based setup, so it’s more of an administrative point than a big factory. We deal with the paperwork and the logistics from here in Uttar Pradesh. The area around 201014 is usually busy, but inside the flat, we try to keep things organized. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. Working from an apartment means we have to be smart about space, but it’s been working fine for us so far. We handle a lot of calls and coordinate with the different sites. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s necessary to keep the sugar business running smooth. We drink a lot of tea while going through the ledger books. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if the lift isn't acting right, but we manage. We aren’t a big fancy corporate office with a lobby. It’s just us in Ghaziabad, getting through the daily tasks. If someone comes by, they’re usually surprised it’s just a flat, but we have everything we need to stay on top of the industry requirements. It’s honest work and we stay busy most of the year. There’s always another pile of documents to look at, so there's never a dull moment.
