Automech Industries (P) Ltd

Our workshop is located at E-2 on B.S. Road. It’s right in the middle of the industrial area, so the surroundings are pretty much what you’d expect—lots of metal scrap, trucks parked everywhere, and the sound of hammers hitting steel. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a while. The building itself has seen better days, maybe it needs a fresh coat of paint, but it serves us well for the kind of heavy mechanical work we do. Most of the guys here live nearby and walk to work. We spend our days dealing with gearboxes, machine parts, and whatever mechanical components need fixing or making from scratch. There is a small cabin near the entrance where we keep the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the main floor. It gets quite hot in the summer because the tin roof traps the heat, so we have a few big pedestal fans blowing all the time. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity with shiny floors. We just do our work, make sure the dimensions are correct, and ship things out when they’re ready. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a tool breaks or a drawing is confusing, but we just figure it out as we go. It’s practical work for people who don't mind getting their clothes dirty.
