Asian Test Equipments

If you head over to Hindon Vihar in Ghaziabad, you’ll find us working away at Asian Test Equipments. It’s a busy industrial pocket of India, and our space is filled with all sorts of gauges, meters, and testing rigs. Most of what we do involves checking that machines and components are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. It’s a lot of staring at numbers and making sure things are calibrated right. The air in the workshop usually feels a bit heavy with the smell of metal and packing tape. We spend a lot of time boxing up equipment to send out to different parts of the country. It’s not the kind of place where everything is polished and shiny. There are boxes stacked in the hallways and tools sitting out on the benches where we last used them. Ghaziabad can be a dusty place, so we’re always wiping down the equipment to keep the grit out of the sensitive parts. Our days are mostly filled with technical manuals and shipping forms. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that isn't what people are looking for when they need testing gear. It’s just a practical environment where we focus on the hardware. We’ve been in Hindon Vihar for a good stretch, and we’re just part of the local industrial landscape now, doing our thing every day and hoping the power stays steady throughout the afternoon. It is hard work, but someone has to make sure the measurements are correct.
