Ashok Kumar Goyal

Out here in Hapur, specifically in the Bajheda Khard Holl 316 area, life moves at its own pace. Ashok Kumar Goyal is my name, and this is where I spend most of my time. The office is part of a larger building that has seen a lot of years. It isn't the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here, but once you know the way, it's easy. We have a few desks and some chairs for visitors. The floor is concrete and we keep it swept, though the dust always finds its way back in. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to finish the work we have for the day and go home to our families. Most of the people we deal with are locals from Hapur or the nearby villages. We talk about the weather and the crops as much as we talk about business. It makes the day go by faster. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a small stove for making chai. Sometimes we run out of milk, and someone has to go down the road to get more. It's that kind of place. We handle things as they come up. If there is a problem, we fix it. If there is paperwork, we fill it out. We don't overthink it. It's just a regular spot where honest work happens every single day. We are happy to be here and part of this community.
