Arcane Motif

We are located over in Ghaziabad, specifically in the 201010 zip code area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main parts of Delhi, but it’s where we’ve set up our workspace. We focus on designs and motifs, which means we spend a lot of time looking at patterns and materials. The studio isn’t very big, but it’s got enough room for our tools and the projects we are working on. Some days it’s a bit of a mess with scraps and sketches everywhere. We don’t really try to look like a big corporate design firm. It’s just a few of us who like making things and figuring out how patterns should look on different surfaces. Ghaziabad can be pretty loud and dusty, but inside we just try to get the work done. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working at our benches. We don’t have a big story about why we started; we just needed a place to work and this one fit. We take on different tasks as they come in and try to stay on top of our deadlines. It’s just a regular small business trying to make a living in the city. We keep our coffee mugs full and the radio playing in the background. It gets a bit cold in the winter, so we wear our heavy sweaters.
