Aquachem Engineers

Aquachem Engineers is up on the seventh floor, specifically room 706, in the Ansals Satyam Building. This is in the R.D.C. area of Raj Nagar. Being that high up gives us a decent view of the surroundings, but mostly we are just looking at pipes, water samples, or chemical charts. The office smells slightly like a lab sometimes, which makes sense given the work we do. There are containers and testing kits sitting on almost every flat surface. We spend a lot of time talking about water pressure, filtration, and how to keep things from rusting. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean; someone is always coming back from a site visit with mud on their boots or grease on their shirt. We have a big table in the middle where we spread out diagrams and try to figure out why a pump isn't working right. The building itself is usually bustling with other businesses, so there’s always a wait for the elevator in the morning. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just help people with their water systems and chemical engineering needs. It’s technical work and it can be quite repetitive, but someone has to do it. Our team is small, and we’ve worked together long enough that we don’t need to explain much to each other anymore. We just get on with the day's engineering problems.
