We are set up over at G-540 on Haipad Road in the Govind Puram area of Aligarh. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city center, but it’s a good spot for what we do. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and people interested in growing things. The office isn't very big, mostly just shelves with samples and some paperwork piled up on the desks. We deal with seeds and different things to help crops grow better. It’s a lot of talk about soil and weather and how the season is going. Sometimes we are out in the fields more than we are in the office. Haipad Road can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up, so we are always cleaning the windows. We’ve been here for a few years now and have gotten to know the local agricultural scene pretty well. We aren't a giant company with a huge marketing budget. It’s just a few of us trying to provide what the local guys need for their land. We don't have fancy presentations or anything like that. Usually, we just sit down with a cup of chai and discuss what might work for a particular plot of land. Sometimes the shipments from suppliers are late, which can be frustrating, but we manage. It’s practical work that follows the rhythm of the seasons. We open early because the farmers are usually up and about way before noon and they stop by on their way.
