Aki Photography is tucked away at 601 in Sector-14, Vasundhra. It’s mostly just a space filled with camera bags, tripods, and a couple of high-end computers for editing. We spend a lot of our time looking at screens, trying to get the colors just right on photos from a recent wedding or a local event. The light in Sector-14 is actually quite nice in the evenings, which helps when we’re out doing shoots nearby. Inside the studio, things are a bit of a mess with cables running across the floor and different backdrops hanging up. We don’t really go for a polished corporate look; it’s more of a creative workspace where things are constantly being moved around. Sometimes we get so caught up in editing that we forget to eat lunch until it’s nearly evening. We’ve been doing this for a while in Vasundhra, and we’ve seen a lot of families grow up through our lens. It’s a job that requires a lot of patience, especially when equipment acts up or the lighting isn't cooperating. We just try to keep things relaxed so people don't feel stiff when they're getting their picture taken. It’s a small operation, just us and our gear, trying to make the most of every shot we take. We end up with a lot of memory cards and hard drives lying around, but that's just part of the process.
