I’m Akber Ali, and I work out of my place at 273 in the Hapur Avas Vikas Colony. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays fairly quiet most of the time. My workspace is just a simple room with a desk and a couple of chairs for visitors. I have a shelf where I keep all my papers and some books I’ve had for years. The walls are a plain off-white color. There is a window that looks out onto the colony road, and I can see the neighbors going about their day. I usually start my morning with a cup of tea and a look at my to-do list. The desk is an old wooden one that has a few scratches on the top. I don't use much technology besides my phone and a basic laptop. It’s a very low-key setup. There is a ceiling fan that hums softly while I work. Sometimes the kids from the colony are playing outside, and their voices drift in. I like being in Hapur; it’s a familiar place where everyone knows everyone. My office isn't anything special to look at, but it’s where I get everything done. I don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s just me handling the daily tasks as they come. I keep things organized in my own way, and it works well enough for what I do.
