Akash Paints & Chemicals

You’ll find Akash Paints & Chemicals over on the G T Road, in the B.S Road Industrial Area. We are at C-71/5. It’s a real industrial spot, so the air usually smells a bit like solvent and fresh paint. We have rows and rows of cans and drums stacked up to the ceiling in the back. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. We spend the day mixing colors or checking the stock levels for the chemicals. It’s a lot of technical work, but we’ve been doing it so long it just feels natural now. The G T Road is always humming with traffic, which is good for business but can be a bit loud. We don't have a fancy front office; it's more about the warehouse and the mixing machines. When a customer comes in, they usually have a specific shade in mind or need a certain type of industrial coating. We do our best to get the mix exactly right for them. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole morning fixing them. It’s just part of the job. Our location in the industrial area means we are surrounded by other businesses, and we all know each other. We keep our records in big binders that are starting to get a bit worn out from use. It’s a busy, messy, productive place to work. We just focus on getting the paint out the door and keeping everything running smoothly at C-71/5.
